The main purpose of OT is to support clients to be able to engage in daily activities or “function”. Focus areas may involve reducing burnout, improving emotional regulation, socializing and unmasking, managing sensory differences, and supporting accommodations.

For neurodivergent individuals, OT is highly personalized, based on unique goals, strengths, and challenges. Using practical, individualized strategies, OT helps identify barriers and implement the right tools to support meaningful participation in daily life.

Hi, my name is Mary (she/her) and I am an Occupational Therapist (OT). With 5 years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, I offer individualized therapeutic services that promote emotional regulation and self-care while working on executive functioning skills.

As an OT, I support clients in navigating daily challenges, from managing burnout to strengthening personal and professional relationships. I also work with my clients to implement accommodations and strategies to optimize time and energy. I use a neurodiversity-affirming approach celebrating each individual’s unique strengths and experiences.

My work is grounded in an intersectional understanding of how factors like gender, race, ability, and socioeconomic background shape each person’s experiences. Whether addressing ADHD’s impact on school, work, or relationship dynamics, I provide compassionate, evidence-based strategies that foster well-being. Through a holistic, client-centered approach, I aim to empower individuals to thrive in their environments while honouring their authentic selves.

Hi, I’m Suzanne (she/her) and I am an Occupational Therapist (OT).

I offer neurodiverse-affirming therapy to adults seeking practical support in their day-to-day lives. I work primarily with autistic people and ADHDers, and I also support related challenges such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and burnout. As a mom of four autistic young adults and teens, I have first-hand experience navigating the challenges and exhaustion of finding the supports and resources needed to thrive in a neurotypical-designed world. I can relate to experiences of burnout and mental health struggles, and feel my lived experience supports a deeper understanding, empathy, and ability to walk alongside my clients in a way that feels authentic and validating.

I offer client-centred, tailored therapy to meet your unique situation. I understand how overwhelming daily tasks can feel when executive functioning, anxiety, low motivation, depression, fatigue, communication, or sensory overload get in the way. I see each client as an individual and make sure you feel heard and supported.

My approach as an OT looks at all of your ‘occupations,’ whether as a student, employee, parent, partner, or caregiver. I can help you break down barriers in whatever environment you’re in and support you in living your most authentic, true self.

If you are looking for support in areas such as managing mental health symptoms, routine building, organization, procrastination, and daily life overall, then tailored ADHD support may be a good fit for you.

I have experience working with children, youth, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, and low self-esteem. My practice focuses on working with you to achieve your functional goals and feel well. I use an individualized approach, taking into account your unique strengths and the barriers you may face.

Hi, I’m Melanie (she/her), a neurodivergent Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UBC.

I primarily support adults with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and burnout to navigate life with more ease and confidence. Our work focuses on what matters most to you—whether that’s managing work or school demands, building routines that stick, staying on top of daily responsibilities, strengthening relationships, reducing burnout, regulating emotions, or finding balance between rest, productivity, and leisure.

As someone with ADHD, I know how discouraging or confusing it can feel when everyday tasks seem harder than they “should” be, or when systems aren’t designed with your brain in mind. I believe combining practical tools with a deep understanding of your condition can empower you to move forward with more clarity, confidence, and the skills to truly thrive.

My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, collaborative, and practical. Our work will explore your skills and abilities, your daily activities, and the physical and social environments you navigate. Together, we’ll identify obstacles, build on your strengths, and develop plans that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to you.

Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to build a life that works for you. If you have more questions, you can book a consult call with me to explore whether we might be a good fit.

Rate: $170.00 per 50 minute intake and sessions

Melanie’s services are available for residents of ON, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, PE, NT, NU, YT.
